It establishes the dated record of natural-feeding antecedents, the development of the raw meaty bones and cybernetic framework, and the later commercial divergence from functional feeding towards formulas, products, certifications and personality-based authority.
The audit does not presume wrongdoing. It distinguishes documentary fact, personal testimony, reasonable inference and unresolved questions; tests public claims against relevant evidence; and gives named subjects an opportunity to correct the record and respond before their individual case files are published. Its ultimate purpose is not the protection of personal prestige, but the protection of animals, pet owners, scientific integrity, the wider community and the environment.

The Larger Fraud Behind the Commercial RAW Diversion
The Raw Feeding Claims Audit examines what may aptly be termed the ‘Righteous And Wrong’ fraternity: commercial promoters who adopted the language of natural feeding while diverting pet owners away from the simpler raw meaty bones starting point and towards recipes, supplements, branded products and personality-led systems.
That conduct warrants scrutiny. It must not, however, be mistaken for either the origin or the full extent of the problem.
The larger and more deeply entrenched fraud resides in the formal and informal alliance between junk pet-food manufacturers, veterinary institutions and organisations claiming to protect animal welfare. Manufacturers have promoted biologically inappropriate products under claims of health, completeness and professional approval. Veterinary authorities and practitioners have endorsed or sold those products while routinely treating the resulting dental and systemic disease. Animal-welfare organisations have largely failed to confront the chronic suffering arising from these practices.
The commercial RAW fraternity emerged within this corrupted environment. Although appearing to challenge the conventional system, its promoters frequently absorbed public dissatisfaction, commercialised the alternatives and left the underlying veterinary–pet-food–animal-welfare alliance substantially untouched.
This Audit therefore examines one significant obstruction within a much larger system. Its present focus must not be interpreted as granting immunity, lesser responsibility or reduced priority to the manufacturers, professional institutions and welfare organisations that created, legitimised and continue to sustain the wider pet-food fraud.
A separate forensic examination of that alliance—its representations, financial relationships, knowledge, conduct and consequences—is intended for future development.
